10 years ago during our High School Graduation, I was voted by my batch mates as most likely to be rich by age 30. I tried hard to live up to those expectations. I finished college with relative ease and started working right away. Working for a multinational company, I felt as if I had made good progress with my career.
When I went to our 10th year reunion, I was surprised at how many people were richer than me. I realized that they all had one thing in common — they all owned their own business. Even those that owned small businesses, who I would have probably laughed, were actually making more money than me.
The following day, I decided to follow in their footsteps. Since I already had a couple of business ideas in mind, all I needed was the funding for them. Much to my dismay, I found out the hard way that securing Business Loans is not that easy. Aside from the numerous paperwork, you have to really convince the bank managers about your business idea. It’s a good thing that I had a pretty good credit record so I resorted to taking out Personal Loans instead. And as time passed, I used the available Business Credit to grow my business. I can’t wait until our next reunion to show them how truly successful I’ve become.
